Embedded design and engineering capabilities for startups that can't wait six months to build one in-house.

Funded B2B & B2G hardware startups

Seed to Series B teams building industrial, medical, defense, robotics, and infrastructure solutions. You have a working principle and need it to become a manufacturable solution.

Industrial design & mechanical engineering

Concept, CAD, DFM, prototype, and engineering documentation, everything between a working PCBA and a tooling-ready release package.

Monthly retainer, embedded team

Not a fixed-bid project shop. We work the way an internal team would, in your Slack, your PDM, your weekly review, at a fraction of the cost.

Capabilities & Services

Every discipline your hardware needs, under one roof.

One embedded team, one monthly fee. Scroll through what sits inside the contract, from first sketch to release package.

Our Collaboration Process

  1. 0120–30 min

    Intro call

We learn the solution, the stage, and what's blocking you. No pitch, no slide deck, just a conversation to see if we're a fit.

    • Solution & stage review
    • Where you're stuck
    • Honest go/no-go
  2. 022–4 weeks · fixed fee

    Design Sprint

A starter project scoped to one clear deliverable, a concept and CAD, a DFM audit, or an enclosure design. Its job is to prove how we work and earn trust before any ongoing commitment.

    • One clear deliverable
    • Fixed fee, no lock-in
    • Shows how we work
  3. 031 session

    Sprint review

We present the work and map the next 90 days together, what to build, what to validate, what to leave alone for now.

    • Walk through the work
    • 90-day roadmap
    • Decide together
  4. 04Fixed monthly retainer

    Partnership

We scope the real workload with you, then send a proposal for a fixed monthly retainer, no time-tracking games. From there we're your embedded design and engineering team: continuous design, DFM, and manufacturer coordination across every revision. Plan long, contract short: roadmap the quarter, stay month-to-month.

    • Workload-based proposal
    • Fixed monthly fee

Common questions.

  • After an intro call and a paid design sprint, we assess the real workload your solution needs over the next quarter and send a proposal for a fixed monthly retainer. No time-tracking, no hour blocks, a single monthly fee for the embedded team.
  • You do. Every engagement starts with a mutual NDA and an IP assignment so all CAD, drawings, renders, and engineering output transfer to you on delivery. We retain the right to show finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
  • CAD: Fusion 360. Renderings, animations, and visualization: Blender. Communications: Slack or Teams, whichever your team already lives in. If you have a PDM or file system in place, we work inside it.
  • We did for years and still do occasionally. Our focus today is B2B and B2G hardware, industrial IoT, defense, robotics, medical, infrastructure, where engineering rigor matters more than retail packaging.
  • Eventually you should. Until then, it comes down to time and cost. An in-house team that does what we do is, at minimum, a mechanical engineer, an industrial designer, and a 3D artist, three full-time salaries, plus months of recruiting, before anything ships. In most cases the workload doesn't fill three people at full capacity, so you're paying for idle time. Going freelance or part-time gets you cost back but costs you consistency, alignment, availability, and continuity through churn. A retainer with us gives you that senior capacity in weeks, at a fraction of the cost, with the same team carrying your solution context the whole way.
  • Remote-first across Europe and the Americas. Most clients are in EU, US East Coast, and Israel. We overlap working hours daily and run async at the edges.
  • Yes. We hand off a tooling-ready release package and can manage the supplier conversation through DFM, FAI, and pilot run if you don't have a supply-chain lead yet.

Let's design your next solution, together.

Tell us where the solution is and what's blocking you, we'll tell you honestly whether a retainer makes sense, or what we'd do instead.
